Set the picture that shows when your site is shared
Choose the picture that appears when someone shares a link to your site on Facebook, X, LinkedIn or in a message, for the whole site or one page.
When someone shares a link to your site, social sites show a small preview with a picture. This setting decides which picture they use. You can set one for the whole site, and a different one for a single page.
Set it for the whole site
- Log in to your site editor.
- In the side panel, click More, then Settings.
- Click Favicon & Social Images.
- Next to Social Networks Image (Open Graph), click +Image.
- Choose or upload your picture.
- Publish. If you don't see a Publish button, tell us and we'll publish it for you.
Set it for one page
- In the side panel, click Pages.
- Click the settings icon next to the page's name.
- Click SEO.
- Next to Social Networks Image (Open Graph), click +Image.
- Choose or upload the picture.
- Publish.
Tips
- Pick a picture that still makes sense when it's small: your logo, your storefront or a clear photo of your best work.
- Use a photo you took or have permission to use.
- Social sites keep a saved copy of the picture for a while. If a shared link still shows an old one after you've changed it, read Fix an old picture showing when you share a link.
