Change how product pages look

Your store has one product page, and every product you add gets a copy of it. Change the design once and it changes for all your products.

Online stores are an add-on. If your site doesn't have one yet, ask us about adding it; we quote it in writing first.

How product pages work

Each element on the product page is linked to a field in your product catalog, such as the title, price or photos. Change the product in the catalog and its page updates by itself. A linked element has a small Connected Data icon.

Good to know:

• You can't copy, delete or swap the product page.
• Product pages can't be listed in your menu.

Change the design

1. Log in to your site editor.
2. In the side panel, click Store, then Element.
3. Click Store Pages, then choose Product Page.
4. Add, remove or move elements, the way you would on any page. For example, you could drag the price up above the description.
5. Publish. If you don't see a Publish button, tell us and we'll publish it for you.

Anything you change here shows on every product page.

Change which detail an element shows

Each element shows one field from your catalog. You can point an element at a different catalog field.

1. Go to Store, then Element, then Store Pages, then Product Page.
2. Click the element you want to change.
3. On the Connect tab, choose a field from the menu.
4. Click Done.
5. Publish. If you don't see a Publish button, tell us and we'll publish it for you.

Show extra details on every product

Details such as brand, ingredients and important notes can show on every product page. Setting these up takes a few connected steps. Ask us and we'll set them up.

Tips

• Check one product on your phone and one on a computer after each change.
• Keep the buy button, price and photos easy to find at the top of the page.
• Sizes and colors appear on the page automatically when you add options. See Add sizes, colors and other options.
