Show products on any page

The Product Gallery is the grid that shows your products. You can show one on your store homepage or on any other page: a gift page, a seasonal page, a category page.

Online stores are an add-on. If your site doesn't have one yet, ask us about adding it; we quote it in writing first.

To add a gallery to a page that doesn't have one, email us the page and what to show, and we'll add it. Everything below is about changing a gallery that's already on a page.

Choose what the gallery shows

1. Log in to your site editor and open the page.
2. Click the Product Gallery to open its settings, then the Content tab.
3. Under What should be displayed in the gallery?, pick what to show: every product, every category, only the main categories, or one category.
4. If you chose all products, use In what order? to pick Product catalog order, A-Z, Price low to high, Price high to low, Newest first or Oldest first.
5. With all products chosen, check the boxes for the groups to include: sold-out items, items on sale and items not on sale. Keep at least one checked. If no products match, the gallery shows empty. If those boxes are missing, use Update widget, found at the top of the Content tab.
6. If you chose one category, use Display on gallery to show its products or its subcategories.

Choose what shows on each item

Turn these on or off in the Content tab:

• Product title.
• Product price.
• Alternate image on hover.
• Tax indication, if your store shows whether tax is included in the price.

These apply to products. When a gallery shows categories, only the name is available.

Set the button

• Show button turns it on or off.
• Clicking will decides what the button does, for example putting the product in the cart.
• Text on button is the wording.
• Button text for products with options is shown for sizes and colors, since shoppers must choose first. It's See options unless you change it.

Publish. If you don't see a Publish button, tell us and we'll publish it for you.

On a category page

A gallery on a category page offers a choice instead: Show different content per category changes with the category the shopper is on, and Show the same content on every page keeps one fixed set.

Watch out

Delete the gallery from one category page and it disappears from every category page. The same goes for the product page. Ask us before you remove one.
