Add a size chart

A size chart lists your sizes with their measurements, so customers can choose with confidence. It's attached to a category, and it shows on the product page of every item in that category.

Online stores are an add-on. If your site doesn't have one yet, ask us about adding it; we quote it in writing first.

Before you start

• Create your categories first. See Organize products into categories.
• Each category holds one size chart at a time. Attaching a new chart replaces the current one. If no other category uses the replaced chart, it moves to drafts and is hidden from your store.
• One chart can serve several categories.

Create a size chart

1. Log in to your site editor.
2. In the side panel, click Store, then Manage Store.
3. In the side menu, open Settings, then click General.
4. Click the Cart & Checkout tab and scroll to Size charts.
5. Click Add Size Chart, or Manage Size Charts if you already have some. Then click +Create Size Chart.
6. Pick the starting layout closest to what you sell, such as Footwear.
7. Edit the table so it shows your sizes and measurements, then click Next Step. The starting layout also has a few tips on how to measure, and you can add your own advice.
8. Choose the category the chart belongs to, then click Apply.
9. Click Create and Display to put it on your store right away, or Create Without Display to save it hidden for now.

Once it's on, customers click a Size chart link on the product page, and the chart opens in a panel on the right.

Edit, hide or delete a chart

1. Go to Store, then Manage Store.
2. In the side menu, click Catalog, then Size Charts, then Manage Size Charts.
3. Next to the chart, click Action, then Edit. Change the name or the table, or pick another category, then click Save.
4. To hide a chart, switch its toggle off. Switch it on to show it again.
5. To remove it for good, click Action, then Delete.

Move the size chart link

The link to the size chart can sit in a different spot on the product page, such as right under the product name. Here's how to move it.

1. In the side panel, click Store, then Store Pages.
2. Open the Product Page, then click the Product Page widget. This opens the design editor.
3. Drag the Size Chart element to where you want it.
4. Publish. If you don't see a Publish button, tell us and we'll publish it for you.

Tips

• Put the Size option at the bottom of your options list, with the chart link below the options, so the link sits next to the sizes.
• Measure the way your customers will. Say where to hold the tape.
