Add text, filters or effects to a photo

Put words on a photo, change its brightness, add a filter or a border, or clear the background, all inside your site editor.

The image editor lets you touch up a photo without any other software: add a few words, brighten it, apply a filter or clear the background.

Open the image editor

  1. Log in to your site editor and open the page with the photo.
  2. Click the photo and open its settings from the small menu that appears.
  3. Click the pencil icon on the photo's thumbnail.

The editor only opens from a page, not from your media library.

Tips

  • Undo and redo work until you save. Close throws away anything you haven't saved.
  • Saving makes a new copy and keeps your original.
  • Don't put hours, prices or phone numbers inside a photo. Put them in the page's own text instead, so a small edit can change them.
  • You can't make a whole photo see-through. A filter or an overlay can give a similar look.
  • Keep words on a photo short and large enough to read on a phone. Check the phone preview.
