Pages, menus and popups

Rename or reorder your pages

Change a page's name or move pages up, down or under another page, all from the Pages panel.

The Pages panel is where your site's pages live. From there you can give a page a new name, and drag pages into the order you want them to show.

Rename a page

  1. Log in to your site editor.
  2. In the side panel, click Pages.
  3. Click the three-dot icon beside the page's name. On some screens it's a gear icon.
  4. Click Rename and change the name.
  5. Publish. If you don't see a Publish button, tell us and we'll publish it for you.

To change the page's web address, see Change a page's web address and settings.

Move a page

  1. In the side panel, click Pages.
  2. Click and drag a page up or down to where you want it.
  3. For a sub-page, drag the page a little to the right so it sits under the page above it. A menu can go up to three levels deep.
  4. Publish. If you don't see a Publish button, tell us and we'll publish it for you.

Tips

  • When your menu follows your pages, the order in this panel is the order in your menu. Open the live site afterward and check the menu.
  • Short names read best in a menu. "Visit" works better than "How to find our shop and what time we open".
  • If your menu was built by hand and doesn't match this panel, change it from the menu itself: Change the links in your menu.
  • To put several pages under one heading, see Group pages under one menu item.
