Online store
Add apps to your store
Browse the store's App Market, read an app's price and support details, install it and find it again under My Apps.
- Add-on: ask us about adding it
The App Market is a shelf of extras that outside developers make for your store, such as more ways to take payment, shipping tools and product ratings. You can look through them yourself and install the ones you want.
Online stores are an add-on. If your site doesn't have one yet, ask us about adding it; we quote it in writing first.
Before you start
- These steps are for stores that show Manage Store under Store in the side panel. If yours doesn't, email us and we'll check what your store offers.
- Apps come from other companies, not from us. The maker sells it, takes your payment and answers your questions.
Steps
- Log in to your site editor.
- In the side panel, click Store, then Manage Store.
- Click Apps, then App Market.
- Click an app to open its page. You'll see what it does, what it costs, how to get support and how to contact its maker.
- To buy it, click Install.
- To find your apps later, look in the My Apps section.
Good to know
- Support: if an app doesn't work, contact its maker. The maker handles support for the app.
- Payments: what you pay for an app goes straight to its maker. A payment problem is also theirs to sort out.
- One store each: an app applies to a single store on a single site.
- Design: the maker decides what an app looks like. If you can't change its look, ask the maker.
Tips
- Read the price and the support details before you click Install.
- Save the maker's contact details somewhere you'll find them, in case you need help later.
- Not sure an app is worth it? Email us before you buy and we'll take a look at whether your store already covers it.
