Social media and reviews
Show your Yelp reviews on your site
Show reviews from your Yelp page on your site. Yelp decides which reviews it sends, so you see up to three, and only positive ones.
The Yelp widget shows reviews from your Yelp page on your own site. It's a short selection, not your whole Yelp page. Read the limits below before you add it.
What shows
- Yelp hands the widget a maximum of 3 reviews, and sometimes fewer.
- The ones it hands over are positive reviews only.
- You need at least one review on your Yelp page before it can connect.
Because of this, the widget isn't a full picture of what customers say. If you describe it, call it "reviews from Yelp" and not "all our reviews".
Steps
- Log in to your site editor and open the page.
- Add the Yelp Reviews widget. See Add a widget to a page.
- Click the widget, then choose its content settings from the small menu that appears.
- Paste your Yelp page's web address into the box, then click Search.
- If the right page is found, it connects by itself. If it's the wrong one, click Enter your Yelp URL again and type another address.
- Edit the Title if you like. The eye icon hides it.
- Publish. If you don't see a Publish button, tell us and we'll publish it for you.
If you see "No results found. Please modify your search.", the address may be wrong, or your Yelp page may not have a review yet.
Tips
- Copy the address from your browser while you're on your Yelp business page, so it's exact.
- For the honest way to ask customers for reviews, see Ask your customers for reviews. It's written for Google, so check Yelp's own guidelines before you ask on Yelp. Ask everyone the same way.
- To show quotes you chose yourself, with each customer's permission, see Add a slider of customer quotes.
