Show a map button instead of a full map

You can swap the map picture for a button with words of your own, such as "Find us".

Before you start

You need a map element on the page already: Add a map of your location.

Steps

1. Log in to your site editor and open the page with the map.
2. Click the map to open its floating menu, then open its content settings.
3. Turn on Set as Button on All Devices. The map picture is replaced by a button. If you see Use button on devices instead, pick the devices where the button should show. If you pick none, the map picture stays.
4. In Text on button, type the words you want.
5. Check the page on a computer, tablet and phone.
6. Publish. If you don't see a Publish button, tell us and we'll publish it for you.

Test it

After you publish, tap the button on your own phone. See what it opens and whether it shows the right place. Customers will get the same thing, so make sure it's right.

Tips

• After you've tested it, use words that match what the button does.
• Check your address in the map settings first. If it looks wrong, choose the address from the list again.
• If you have more than one place, see Show all your locations.
