Phone, address and location
Add a map of your location
Put a map with your address on any page, and add a small pop-up label that says who you are.
A map helps customers see exactly where you are before they get in the car. You can show your shop, an event, or where people should park.
Steps
- Log in to your site editor and open your Contact or Visit page.
- In the side panel, click Widgets.
- Drag the Map widget where you want it.
- Click it to open its floating menu, then open its content settings. You can also right-click it and choose Edit Content.
- Type your address in the field provided.
- Choose your address from the list that appears.
- Check that the map pin is in the right place.
- Publish. If you don't see a Publish button, tell us and we'll publish it for you.
If your address doesn't appear in the list, the map's address data may not include it. Tell us and we'll help.
Add a label to the pin
In the same content settings you can add a small information window for the pin.
- Type a title and a short description, such as your name and "Free parking behind the building".
- Under Popup display, choose On hover, On click or Always.
- Publish.
Change how the map looks
Click Edit Design in the floating menu, then open the Layout tab.
Good to know
- If you've saved your address in your business details, you can connect the map to it, so a move only needs one edit. See Connect text or a photo to your business details.
- Would a plain button work better than a map? See Show a map button instead of a full map.
- Want a Google Maps embed instead? Ask us and we'll set it up.
- Moved? The pin needs to move too. See Update your phone number or address.
Need a hand?
Email hello@zossoz.com with your business name, the page and the address to show, and we'll take care of it. It counts as one of your small changes for the month. We reply within one business day. See Request a change.
