Bring in photos from Google Drive, Dropbox or Facebook

Pull photos straight into your media library from your own Google Drive, Dropbox, Google Photos, Facebook or Instagram account.

If your photos already live in Google Drive, Dropbox, Google Photos, Facebook or Instagram, you can bring them into your site's media library without saving them to your computer first.

Before you start

  • You connect your own account. If a service asks you to sign in, you do that yourself. We never ask for your password and never see it.
  • Only import photos you took, or that you have permission to use. If you're unsure about a photo's rights, check with your lawyer.
  • Importing works on the Images tab. Videos, audio and files are uploaded from your device.

Steps

  1. Log in to your site editor.
  2. In the side panel, click CMS, then Media Manager.
  3. Click the Images tab.
  4. If you'd like the photos in a folder, open it, or click + Add Folder to make one.
  5. Click Import Images. A menu offers From a Site and From Social Media. Look under From Social Media for Facebook, Instagram and other places such as Google Drive, Dropbox and Google Photos.
  6. Pick the service and follow the prompts.
  7. Choose the photos you want and follow the prompts.
  8. Click Upload to bring them in. To drop one from the list first, click the X beside it.
  9. Check that the photos appear in your library.

You can also import while you are editing a page. In the side panel, click Add, then Media, then Upload Media, and pick where the photos come from. Another way in is the icon with three dots, at the panel's lower edge.

You can also send us a shared album link and we'll bring the photos in. Email hello@zossoz.com with your business name, the link and where the photos go. We reply within one business day. It counts as one of your small changes for the month. See Send us photos and files.
